Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of TCGSidekick (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

TCGSidekick provides AI-assisted trading card identification, condition grading, market pricing, and listing-file export for resellers. Card identification, grading, and pricing are automated estimates, not guarantees — you are responsible for verifying any card, grade, or price before buying, selling, or listing.

2. Accounts

• You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure.
• You are responsible for all activity under your account.
• You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction.

3. Subscriptions & billing

Paid tiers are billed on a recurring basis through our payment processor, Stripe. By subscribing you authorize recurring charges until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account; access continues until the end of the current billing period. Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable. Plan limits and pricing may change with notice.

4. Acceptable use

• Do not abuse, overload, scrape, or attempt to circumvent quotas or rate limits.
• Do not reverse engineer, resell, or provide the Service to third parties as your own.
• Do not upload unlawful content or use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

5. Third-party services & data

The Service relies on third parties including TCGplayer (pricing/links), Stripe (payments), Supabase (hosting/storage), Anthropic (AI), and Vercel (hosting). Card names, images, and related marks are the property of their respective owners; the Service is not affiliated with or endorsed by them.

6. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that identifications, grades, or prices are accurate, complete, or current, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TCGSidekick will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or lost sales arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms or to protect the Service.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
